Come and join our art adventure
Each week, explore new projects with drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media and more.  The focus is on giving young artists access to professional art instructors and quality materials to create art.   Special visitors will stop by each week to inspire your camper with exciting animal friends to meet and draw.  New projects each week.

Note: For all day camps, please bring a nut-free bag lunch, and bottle of water each day.  You may want to bring sunscreen for lunchtime/playtime outdoors.  For 1/2 day workshops, please bring a water bottle and snack.

4 day "Art Studio" camp; 9:30am-2:30pm; Age 11-18, grouped by age; $195
Get inspired by our talented instructors in this Advanced art camp - draw, paint, sculpt and sew your own creations with guidance and art demos from professional artists. Also try digital art with Procreate on iPads provided by the studio, or bring your own device. This open studio format is perfect for advanced preteen and teen artists ready to explore new mediums, create amazing art, and meet new friends.

AUGUST workshops

CHARACTER DESIGN Aug 5-7, 10-12 (crystal lake)

CHARACTER DESIGN workshop, age 11-17; $90
$90 per 3-day workshop  - learn to develop your original characters in pencil, then finish them in watercolor, gouche, colored pencil, Copic marker, or ink.  Explore drawing anatomy, clothing, hairstyles, and more.  Day 1: sketch and design your character with views from the front, back and side. Day 2: transfer your final design to Bristol board and add details. Day 3: Color, shade, and add highlights for a finished character illustration.

Learn improv acting skills through playing games and performing fun scenes with an instructor who loves to have fun.  Get ready to laugh!  All skill levels are welcome.
