Graphite Toolkit

In this 6-week series, students will learn how to observe, interpret, and translate visual information using graphite. Each session focuses on a single concept -tools, information, space, form, and more - building toward a clear understanding of how drawings come to life. Graphite is the medium. Perception is the skill. Designed for students who have some familiarity with drawing materials and want to deepen their understanding of what they are seeing and how to express it. Graphite & Colored Pencil Workspace

Students bring their own projects and work independently in a focused, supportive environment. This is not a step-by-step instructional class, but a space for artists who enjoy working at their own pace and appreciate professional input on materials, process, or composition. Get beginning or intermediate instruction in Procreate with Apple Pencil, or using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign on your device. Studio iPads available for use, or bring your own. Beginning students will get step-by-step instruction on techniques, then choose their own project to complete. WATERCOLOR 2-DAY WORKSHOP - SAT 3:30PM
Watercolor 2-day Workshop
Venarella Hinkle Follow along step-by-step to create a painting in just two Saturdays! Learn new skills each time. SAT 3:30-5:30pm (ending time approximate; if students need extra time, instructor will continue past end time) $65 per 2-day workshop April 18 & 25 - Piglet May 23 & 30 - Songbird June 20 & 27 - Paris July 18 & 25 - Seascape Try watercolor with step-by-step instruction - each workshop runs two Saturdays, 2 hours each, and you will go home with a gorgeous finished painting to hang on your wall or give as a gift. Each painting highlights a new skill you can learn to begin or continue your watercolor journey, such as wet-on-wet, masking, color washes, and more. Rug Tufting

Pam Magnuson Waitlist - SUN 11:00-1:00pm (Intermediate/Advanced) Waitlist - WED 6:00-8:00pm (All Levels) Waitlist - THURS 1:00-3:00pm (Beginning) Waitlist - FRI 12:30-2:30pm (Beginning) $145 for 6 weeks (2 hour class) Additional drop-in classes available for $25/class; student must have already enrolled in a 6-week course prior to drop-in, and contact instructor prior to drop-in day to check if there is space in the class. Woodstock studio Learn to create a stained glass panel to beautify your home, or to give as a gift. For beginning students, instructor will provide a choice of patterns in styles such as Art Deco, Mission, and Prairie. Advanced students have the option to design their own pattern. Skills learned include composition, cutting, and soldering. Tools & instruction provided, students will purchase glass for their project ($50-$80 additional depending on pattern). This is an adult class; student must be 18 or older to register.
