Art classes run year-round, typically in 2-month sessions meeting once a week. Some classes may have alternate schedules, see class listings below.
Most instructors will allow makeup classes or class credits if you miss a class or two. Please note: Missed classes and credits are NOT transferable. Make up classes or credits must be completed with the original instructor. |

Regular 6-8 week sessions typical fees: 8 weeks - $130 (1.5 hour class); or $180 (2 hour class) 7 weeks - $114 (late-start) 4 weeks - $65 (1/2 session) Some art classes may be priced differently, please check class descriptions below before registering. ART CLASS AGE LIMITS

Please stay home if you are coughing, sneezing, or have a fever. We are happy to offer credits or make up times for missed classes. Creative Arts reserves the right to refuse service to individuals who create an unsafe or hostile environment. Individuals exhibiting disruptive behavior, being loud or abusive, posing a safety risk to staff or students, or harassing staff or students will be asked to leave the studio. Acrylic Painting
Scott Little MON 3:20-5:20pm (2 hour class) $180 for 8 weeks; $90 for 4 weeks MON 5:30-7:20pm (2 hour class) $180 for 8 weeks; $90 for 4 weeks Crystal Lake studio Open studio class with instruction in specific techniques as needed, including color blocking, color mixing, blending and more. Instructor will give class prompts; students can choose to work on the demonstrated acrylic painting technique for a finished artwork, or work on their individual project with instructor assistance. Gouache Painting Scott Little TUES 5:30-6:50pm $130 for 8 weeks; $65 for 4 weeks (1.5 hour class) Crystal Lake studio Explore gouache painting, a fascinating medium that can be transparent or opaque depending on how much water is used to paint. Relaxing & enjoyable! Flex attendance fits your schedule, register for 3 or 6 classes at a time. Sam Sieber FRI 2:00-3:30pm; age 16+ $130 for 8 weeks; $65 for 4 weeks Crystal Lake studio Design your choice of project - digital painting, character design, illustrations, tattoo art, and more. Get beginning or intermediate instruction in Procreate with Apple Pencil, or using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign on your device. Studio iPads available for use, or bring your own. Beginning students will get step-by-step instruction on techniques, then choose their own project to complete. You'll start by making simple crocheted squares that can be used to make scarves, pillows or blankets. After that, repeat students can learn more advanced patterns to make hats, plushies, and more! Watercolor 2-day Workshop
Venarella Hinkle Follow along step-by-step to create a painting in just two Saturdays! Learn new skills each time. SAT 3:30-5:30pm $65 per 2-day workshop January 17 & 24 - Winter Rose February 21 & 28 - Viola's Tea Try watercolor with step-by-step instruction - each workshop runs two Saturdays, 2 hours each, and you will go home with a gorgeous finished painting to hang on your wall or give as a gift. Woodstock studio Learn to create a stained glass panel to beautify your home, or to give as a gift. For beginning students, instructor will provide a choice of patterns in styles such as Art Deco, Mission, and Prairie. Advanced students have the option to design their own pattern. Skills learned include composition, cutting, and soldering. Tools & instruction provided, students will purchase glass for their project ($50-$80 additional depending on pattern). This is an adult class; student must be 18 or older to register.
